My dad and I rode our bikes to the Jewel-Osco on Plum Grove Road, and we got some cereal and each a can of soda. We went outside to the front of the store and drank our sodas when I looked at the payphone. They had a list of free calls you could make. They were:

  • *82 for Jokes

  • *83 for Horoscope

  • *86 for Weather

  • *87 for Sports

  • *88 for a Surprise

Needless to say, it wasn't all what it was cracked up to be. They all led to various Customer Support lines. Now I'll list them:

  • *82 -- Motorola Customer Support
  • *83 -- Mott's Customer Support
  • *86 -- MSN Customer Support
  • *87 -- Omaha Medicare Service
  • *88 -- Nabisco Customer Satisfaction Line

Yeah. I can't fathom why on earth companies would do that stuff to a pay phone. But hey, it's free! :D
