Day 5 of Spring Break!

I got Half-Life 2 Bronze!!!
Yay! I think I'm happy! It's fun, but it's really creepy. I'm only half-way through Chapter 3 out of 14 chapters. I'm most addicted to playing Counter-Strike: Source. It's awesome. I think my favorite map is de_rats. That's where all the players are the size of mice. :-). Well, I rode my bike on "the path" and Sam bought me two Swiss Cake Rolls in return for a song from iTunes. Well, that's all I have to post for right now, so make sure to stay tuned.

Day 4 of Spring Break

Well, today was fairly boring, in retrospect. We walked/jogged at the community center, and then in the evening, we did some yard work. And then our internet connection was not-connectionated for half the day, so I'm sorry that this post is kind of late. Then I spent the last ten minutes plea-bargaining with my dad to get Half-Life 2. My plan is to owe him $60 and give him a $10 down-payment. Am I a genius or what?

Oh, and sorry Nick, I was feeling very "spammy" yesterday.

Nick's E-mail Address

I feel like torturing Nick with unwanted spam, hate mail, and e-mail in general, so I'm going to post his e-mail address:

A really big e-mail!

Wow! I can't believe I could write this much! Here, you should read this e-mail I sent in reply to Nick Coteus.

Well, what I think of the PSP is that it isn't very innovative; it uses the same true formula: better graphics, bigger screen, smaller size, cooler look. The NDS is different in that it tries something new: a touch screen and two screens.

In terms of recommending one to get, I can't really say much that I'm 55% NDS and 45% PSP. If you're fairly impartial like me, I can only say you should only consider the longetivity of the system. The Nintendo DS has going for it an excellent and long history of great portable game systems. The PSP has, well, a backing by a big company and a huge fan base that liked the PS2 and PSone.

You'd want the DS over the PSP in game play, the DS, on average, has better ratings for its titles than the PSP.

If you want little extra features, the obvious choice is the PSP, though Game Spy and Walter Mossberg say the little features like music playing, movie viewing, and the photo viewing aren't very good. They're hard to use and the separate cable for connecting to the computer is only available on the website.

Graphics, the PSP is better because it has an easy-to-see widescreen display, and better shaders and textures, almost PS2-like graphics. While the NDS has two 4:3 screens that are about as big as a GBA screen and only offer slightly-better-than-N64 graphics. But it makes up for that with a touchscreen, which makes for precision control in alternative to its digital control, while the PSP can only have digital, which isn't as accurate.

In general, if you want a different and new style of gaming, go for the Nintendo DS. Meanwhile, if you like your games to be portable, the PSP is the way to go.

Personally, I'd prefer you get the DS if you have a choice. In response to your question, the PSP is worth it if you get one of the first million units (they include a free Spiderman 2 movie). It's a little overpriced without that. And, no, I don't know if the price will go down. Probably in about 9 months to a year as history dictates.

Are you having a good time in Mississippi? Did you like Everything or Nothing? Alice misses you, so make sure you send her an e-mail @ gmail. Also, she has a blog. And I have a blog, too. I update it daily with at least 2 posts. Also, I might get Half-Life 2 over the weekend, so I'll probably post about it in my blog.

I hope you have a good Spring Break,

End Message

Well, that was long. And it provides insight on the PSP vs. Nintendo DS issue, too!

Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory Comes Out Soon!

This game comes out at local stores in Palatine on Wednesday! It's cool because it's all about stealth, there are new weapons and features, and there's an all-new co-operative mode! Too bad it's rated mature...

Day 3 of Spring Break (Easter Sunday)

Well, today wasn't that intersting so far. I had a breakfast and sat through the one-and-a-half hours of church zoning out, and then I posted this on my blog. Well, I'll be eating ham for lunch today, and I don't want to know about dinner.

Day 2 of Spring Break

I did four things today! I created oatmeal/brown sugar/cinnamon/vanilla pancakes with sunny-side eggs on them. I know, I have a weird taste in breakfast foods. Then, I cleaned up the dining room table and listened to American Idiot and Jesus of Suburbia. Then I took a shower, and now I'm posting on my blog. Well, that's what I've done so far today as of 11:25 AM.

Yay! Today is kind of like the first day of Spring Break! Even though it's Good Friday... I hope today I can go to the library.

Well I updated my blog again and now it plays the first minute of "Diz Knee Land." It's kinda funny.

Battlefield 2 Rocks!

This is the best multiplayer game that I've played since Battlefield 1942. I'm saving up for it when it comes out at June 27, 2005.

Today at School 3

Well today was mostly easy because it was the day before spring break. We even got to chew gum in Science today! The only hard part of today was that we had to take the Chapter 23 test in Social Studies, and it had two essay questions...:(.

Tribes: Vengeance Rules!

Today at School 2

Man, today at school was awesome! I'm in my happy spot!!! I currently have a 100.9% in Science Class! That'll make up for my B- in Literature :. Well, today, we mostly didn't have work to do. We just fooled around and didn't do anything in general, except for Social Studies, which sucked. We had to do two study guides, and then she made us do another one that covered the same stuff as the other two. All this for a twenty minute test tomorrow :((((.

Today at School 1

Well, today at school, I had a typical boring day. I bored myself through ninth period, and then I rejoiced when the bell rang. I came home, took a nap, and now I've got to work on my binder. I'll keep posting on whether I succeed or not. I hope I get at least 70/80 points.

My First Post

Hi! I started a new blog! Listen and loin as I start ranting about the boredness of my life! And, F.Y.I, I am not a white male. I'm an African-American male.

My French Report

I did my French Report, due 3/7/05, on this dude. His name was Cardinal Richelieu and he was, in fact, portrayed as evil. More on him coming soon!

2nd post
