Star Wars 3 (again)

I watched Star Wars 3 again today!!! Alice also reacted to something funny I did on Saturday. Her website is on the right links sidebar.

Star Wars 3

Oh yeah, BTW, I watched Star Wars episode 3 on Friday. It was really cool. Also, um, I forgot...

Post in A Long While

I haven't posted in a while...

Well, there isn't much to post about nowadays, but soon I'll post a video about CSS. In the meantime, visit other people's blogs on the links to the right.

Did anyone notice my song changed? It now plays Experimental Film by They Might Be Giants.

RSS News Aggregator

Blogger blogs are way better than Xanga blogs because they use a RSS feed instead of the outdated e-mailing each post system. For those of you luddites, the link for the RSS aggregator I use is at the bottom. Add my blog's RSS feed by clicking the link on the right and copying the url line.

Digital Cameras

My dad is thinking about getting a digital camera, and I was looking at some, and I found some that I thought were okay:

Kodak EasyShare DX7590

5 MP (prints up to 30" by 20")
Has lots of modes
Big, glass lens (read: high image quality)
Lots of modes
Enormous 10x optical zoom
Includes its own dock
Records on SD/MMC cards
Can take video (unlimited time, 640x480)
Flash built-in
Lacks manual focus
Cannot save in RAW, only JPEG
Only got ok reviews about low-light pictures
Kind of big (definitely not a pocket camera)
Awesome black color!!!

Around $450 at Amazon and Wal-Mart

Fujifilm FinePix S7000

I think this is around the one Nick has
6.3 MP effective, 12.3 MP recorded
6x optical zoom
Records on xD, CompactFlash cards, microdrives
Shutter Speeds, Aperture Sizes, etc. are tweakable
Captures VGA quality video (30fps and w/ sound, 640x320 at highest setting)
Has a lot of continuous shooting modes
Auto and Manual Focus
Noise shows on big images
It's MSRP is $800, can be had at amazon for mid-$400

Can some1 give me their opinion on this?

I've started audioblogging from www.audioblogger.com. It's totally much better than any xanga!

Priceless!

I was browsing through blogs, and I found this neat entry in one. I gave credit to where the thing came from (a blog), so don't try to pin the authorities on me. It's really funny and made me think about first impressions...

From da'hammer. Author: da'hammer
From a Blogger blog. For URL, click on the title.

An honest man was being tailgated by a stressed out woman on a busy boulevard. Suddenly, the light turned yellow just in front of him.

He did the right thing, stopping at the crosswalk, even though he could have beaten the red light by accelerating through the intersection.

The tailgating woman hit the roof and the horn, screaming in frustration as she missed her chance to get through the intersection. As she was still in mid-rant, she heard a tap on her window and looked up into the face of a very serious police officer. The officer ordered her to exit her car with her hands up. He took her to the police station where she was searched, finger printed, photographed, and placed in a holding cell.

After a couple of hours, a policeman approached the cell and opened the door. She was escorted back to the booking desk where the arresting officer was waiting with her personal effects.

He said, "I'm very sorry for this mistake. You see, I pulled up behind your car while you were blowing your horn, flipping off the guy in front of you, and cussing a blue streak at him. I noticed the 'Choose Life' license plate holder, the 'What Would Jesus Do?' bumper sticker, the 'Follow Me to Sunday-School' bumper sticker, and the chrome plated Christian fish emblem on the trunk. Naturally, I assumed you had stolen the car."

More Blog Changes

I've been changing my blog lately. I modified the sidebar on the right to add my e-mail addresses and also sub-headers because I have so many links. Also, for my RSS readers, I have changed the mode to "short", so now my first paragraph will be a concise summary of what I have to say. For everyone else, read past for the details.

Also, the pastor of my church turned 80 today. That's pretty neat. Oh, and we might get a new digital camera sometime. I hope it has decent features (read: the technology in it is circa 3000000 AD). Then I might be able to open my photoblog! :-D. I also hope we can get Adobe Photoshop 8.0 (Basically known as Adobe Photoshop CS 2). The bad part is that it costs $599. :-(.

A New Blog

I created a new blog!!!

It's about CSS weapons, so if you don't care, move on. If you do, I'll be posting another one daily or twice-daily as I feel like it.

Well, at school, we're finishing up our rockets, and I brought Eric R.'s and mine rocket home so we could paint it. I prefer black, but he says sky blue. What do you think? Alice sewed a frog yesterday, and every time I touch it I crack up. Now I say it's evil. But, it's so cute and weird...

We had a little party today for our school team because we had the highest improvement in our homework completion percentage. Everyone got an ice cream sandwich and a cup of water or Powerade. What fun. Mostly I talked with Mike Sodistrom about modding and creating content for games.

Now I stay in at lunch during school. It's fun spending your lunch period surfing fun sites that haven't been blocked yet. I saw this funny video yesterday. It was in an old puberty video style that said this little kid began to want how to post. He needed to express himself, say stuff, and then he said some strange phrase in messed-up forum language. It was funny because it was spoken and ended with one one one. Some guy on a filefront command and conquer forum put a link to that on his blog.

Have you seen that weird "Numa Numa" video yet? My sister showed me an American Idol version of it on www.killsometime.com. I saw the original and it was funny. Where'd he get the song???

Well, this was long because I had so much to talk about, and my internet was down yesterday, so I had to post this excessively long post. Maybe if you ask I'll elaborate on stuff...
