Another Music Change

I changed the playing music to a weird song called "Dragoste Din Tei". Experimental Film is still the audio clip in my profile, just in case you miss it.

You know, I should realy make a post today cuz I haven't posted in an eternity.

Well, I read five books for the library's summer reading program, bought Battlefield 2, and played Counter-Strike again. Nothing much more than that. Except Battlefield 2 rocks. Yep. It does. Undoubtedly. Oh, and get Feel Good Inc. by Gorillaz. Yep. Uh-huh. Yeah...

Oh, and also, Outlook isn't working and hasn't for 2 weeks. Now I actually have to go onto the Internet to check my e-mail :-(.

I also got a weird and old software program from the library's used book sale. It's called "The Shainin Assistant". It's incredibly old, and I have no idea about what it does. I also got a really big and long strategy guide for SimCity 2000. It's moot though because I have SimCity 4 Deluxe!!!!

Battlefield 2 Demo Rant

I played Bf2 (Battlefield 2) and CSS (Counter-Strike:Source), and I looked at some forums. People were ranting about how poorly optimized Battlefield 2 is. I agreed with them because Half-Life 2 has insanely better graphics and physics objects and AI, etc. yet I can still have medium graphics options on and still play smoothly. Yet when I play Bf2, all of the settings are low and I can't play on 64 plyr servers because I'd need a T1 connection and a GeForce 6 series graphix card. Who's going to drop $500 to get a new graphics card to play a game that's $50? Yeah.

I realized that HL2 (Half-Life 2) is more taxing than Bf2, but it doesn't have nearly as strenuous system requirements. My point? Battlefield 2 is poorly optimized, and EA needs to work on its coding before they do a final release. Or they could do what Garry did for Garry's Mod for Half-Life 2 and spend time rolling out 7 versions before just using a different engine that ran a hell of a lot smoother.

Biking

There's not much to post about today except I expect to bike to Office Max today to redeem an old ink cartridge for a ream of paper, and when I get around to it, find a way to bike to Woodfield or Best Buy. I think I'll try to do Best Buy today...

Oh and also, I downloaded the Battlefield 2 demo and played it. It seems pretty cool, except the minimum requiremnts for it require most people to buy a $3000 system. I doubt they'll be getting very many sales...

Second to Last Day of School

We had a picnic today in the afternoon today at school. I brought the camcorder and got lots of footage. Now if only I could find a way to edit it...

There's not much else to talk about except our 8th grade graduation is tomorrow. I hope I do okay and etc...

Weekend

I'm going to use a program called w.bloggar (type it in Google to find it's site) to post on my blog. It supports multicolor stuff and etc. It will not affect my RSS readers.

My sister's friend, Bridish, stayed with us this weekend. She and my sister were insufferable brats during the whole weekend. My mom even extended an invitation to her to stay at our house during the summer. I went outside afterwards and gagged.

I've taken a new interest in my camcorder today. It records on VHS-C, so I can't edit it or connect to a computer, or play it in a DVD player, etc. So I'm currently trying to find a way to do something to it so it fits my wants..and help would be appreciated.

Well, I guess this is it for now, and wait...here's the link to the CSS video I promised.
